Are you ready for a little Baseball??

Have we told you all enough how awesome Vanderbilt has been to us? Have we? Tonight we took the whole family to a baseball game featuring our own Triple A team, The Nashville Sounds. Not only did Vandy score us free tickets, but they also gave each of us "Sound Bucks" which paid for all our dinners and then some. It was a really fun night check it out!

Play Ball!

Who wants a free shirt? ME!!!!!

So this guy came into the ER last night with a hatchet in his head (just kidding!)

The kids got to meet the team mascot Ozzie! ( Better they learn about this Ozzie instead of the other one!)

Is anyone really watching the game or are we here to eat?

What you talking about Dad?

Christie's fellow residents Michelle and Tara were also at the game! (This picture was actually taken by Caeley! Good job Cales!)

The Sounds didn't pull it off tonight, but we certainly had a great time. Thanks to Vanderbilt for hooking us up yet again!

Nana Comes To Nashville!

On our way back from CT, Nana came with us for her first visit to Nashville! Though she has been many places, she had never been to our new hometown, so we invited her down to show her around! We arrived very late after driving 18 hours all day Saturday. As she was settling in on Sunday, Nana slipped down our stairs and really fell hard! Unfortunately, Nana got to see where Christie worked up close and personal. After that little scare, we really had a great week. Here are some of the highlights!

Nana hanging with Elijah as we waited for Caeley's Vacation Bible School show!

After her last day of VBS, Nana took us all out to lunch at Noshville to celebrate! Caeley really felt special! And we all appreciated it!

A few days later, we were all off to a ride on the General Jackson, a beautiful paddle boat that cruises the Cumberland River.

Somebody's excited!!!

ALL ABOARD!!!

Tim Watson, an excellent fiddle player entertained us with his great band. Check this out, I promise you will have a smile on your face by the end like we did!

A few days later, we took Nana to celebrate the 4th country style at The Wildhorse Saloon! Here Elijah is cutting the rug!

There was a lot more fun, just spending time together. We loved having Nana visit, and really hope to see her come back and visit soon. Come on back now ya hear?!

The Last Stop in CT!

Our last stop in CT was to see the Gomez clan and for the kids to hang out with their cousins which they love to do. It was a short but sweet visit!

Hanging with Lucas AKA Mr. Happy!

Caeley posing with her old excersaucer. WOW!! How big she got.

Pretty girl!

The cuz crew June 2010! Thanks Aunt Maggie and Uncle Felix for letting us stop by (and for letting me stay more than that!) As we left CT, we brought a special passenger with us! (to be continued.....)
