Play Date!

This week Caeley had a playdate with a friend from school. And to say it was a success is an understatement. This boy who came over is one of the sweetest kids you will ever meet and it was such a delight to watch them play for hours together, just having a blast. This was especially sweet since Caeley had some negative play date experiences recently. Check out Caeley's big smiles in these pics...

Happy Birthday Christie!

Yesterday (3/14) was Christie's birthday. Unfortunately, Christie was REALLY sick the night before and all day on her birthday. Stinks huh? So unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of photo ops yesterday. I also got pretty sick last night. The good news is that everyone is feeling a lot better today. Here are the few pics we took.

Caeley put together this breakfast of champions for Christie. Does her girl know her mom's tastes or what?

Christie has always loved cookie cakes. I found a place that makes really good ones and we got it ready in the kitchen while Mom waited out in the dining room. (Notice the 42 on the cake. Thought it would be funny, but they wouldn't stay on in transport.)

Unfortunately, bringing out the cake was more for the kids since Christie couldn't really eat it. But as you can see, there is plenty for her to have when she is feeling better.

Happy birthday to the best wife and mother we could have ever dreamed of. WE LOVE YOU!!!

He's a cold hearted snake...

This is our friend the snake. Don't worry, he is dead. We think he must have froze out in the backyard this winter. At first we didn't even know if he was real or not. When we figured out he was real, we didn't know if he was dead or not. But when Christie pried open his mouth with a stick, we realied he was dead a s a doornail. Here are some silly pics!

Again, sorry for being so behind. Here is a catchup blog post of some events that have happened this past month or so..

Christie spent a day with the Life Flight crew. She flew to emergencies and helped them as they transported them back to the hospital. You don't always get to go on your day, depending if there are any incidents, but she got to go that day once.

This is very very cute! Caeles made breakfast in bed for Elijah one morning! She did this all on her own.

Very nutritious huh?

This was Valentine's Day morning. Opening stuff from us and from extended family! Thanks to all of you for remembering our kids!

Discovering The Discovery Center!!

Thanks to our good friends The Smiths, we were able to check out The Discovery Center in Murfreesboro on their FREE DAY!! And boy was it a hit! Check it out!

As you can see, the kids couldn't get enough. So we got a membership! I always like to find those places you can go on cold and rainy days and this place is perfect.
